"Brasenose College, Oxford, has a Graduate Common Room which is open to all graduates and some fourth-year undergraduates in statu pupillari at the college. In memory of a past benefactor, it is known as the Hulme Common Room (HCR). The objects of the HCR are to provide a meeting place for all members, to promote their welfare, interests, and social activities and to represent them in the official business of Brasenose College."

- Preamble to the HCR Constitution

The HCR is a place where you can come to relax, read newspapers and magazines, make tea and coffee, eat your lunch and catch up with friends. We also hold many of our social events here, such as games nights, cocktail parties and our infamous ‘Second Desserts’! Located at the bottom of Staircase 4, accessible by your key fob, we look forward to seeing you visit.

The HCR has its own committee, elected annually during Hilary term, which represents graduate interests within the college and university, acts as a point of contact for general welfare issues and organises various social events throughout term.

If you are new to Brasenose, please don't hesistate to get in touch with current Committee Members with any questions regarding life at Brasenose College (BNC) or in Oxford.
